Insurance:

Currently, I do not accept insurance so we have more flexibility and control over treatment options. Many insurances do not cover diagnoses related to sexual concerns when billed directly, and most do not cover couples sessions. This allows us to develop a treatment plan as a team that is individualized for your needs without influence of insurance restrictions. This also allows you privacy during treatment that is not subjected to insurance review.

In some cases, clients may be able to seek insurance reimbursement for out of network services. I provide clients with an itemized receipt they can present to insurance, however there is no guarantee of coverage.

No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate:

You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for your expected total cost of any non-emergency services. In compliance with the “No Surprises Act” that took effect January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to notify clients of their federal rights and protections against “surprise billing.” The law requires that we notify you of your federally protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by an out-of-network provider, if a client is uninsured, or if a client elects not to use their insurance. Additionally, we are required to provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of the cost of services [see fees above]. It is difficult to determine the true length of treatment for mental health care, and each client has a right to decide how long they would like to participate in mental health care. We will collaborate with you on a regular basis to determine how many sessions you may need. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
